I don't think within field boundaries. I look for connections across experiences.

Vaclav Vesely

I connect system and product thinking with real-world operations.

I'm not a developer or a business guru. I quickly understand the system, name weak spots, and help set solutions that hold in practice.

  • Systems thinking in practice
  • Decisions with incomplete data
  • Product simplicity and sustainability
  • IT tools and technology with clear value

I've run manufacturing, development, and implementation projects in Czech and international companies - Magna, Skoda Electric, Eaton, Unipetrol, MUT Automotive. I've worked in environments from corporates and traditional manufacturing to smaller tech firms, which lets me quickly see how systems work, where they jam, and what needs to change.

Over time I moved closer to technology, web, and my own products. It wasn't a change of industry, more a shift toward work where decisions have fast impact and systems are tested in real operations. Today I combine big-project experience with my own products and smaller IT projects, where you constantly balance speed, stability, and long-term sustainability.

I treat methodologies as tools, not dogma. What matters is that the system works even under imperfect use, that decisions have real consequences, and that the solution survives real operations - whether that's manufacturing, software, or my own SaaS.

What I bring:

  • Systems view of product and operations
  • Quick orientation in messy environments
  • Decisions with incomplete data and pressure
  • Bridging tech, people, and business goals without fluff

Project Manager & Operations Lead
Running ops for a 3D AR/VR startup

In a small IT/3D AR/VR startup I run both projects and operations. I work between clients, the team, and the product, watch capacity, finances, and deadlines, and translate requirements into clear steps. In practice that means keeping the whole system together, not just individual tasks.

  • Decisions with incomplete data
  • Trade-offs between older processes and new approaches
  • Operational reality and accountability

Founder / Product & Ops
A simple SaaS for small stays

I built my own SaaS for small accommodations and took it to production. From day one the focus has been simplicity and a product that non‑technical owners can run. I keep it running long‑term and tune features based on operational reality and user feedback.

  • Simplicity for users, sustainability for builders
  • Fast delivery vs. long-term stability
  • Decisions with real operational impact
2023-2024

MUT Automotive

Key Account Manager
MES system with camera monitoring, technology projects

Implementation of a camera‑based MES system with a Czech startup. I handled how the design meets manufacturing reality, what to adjust, and what to leave alone so the system works in practice. I also coordinated other technology projects with partners from Germany and Italy.

  • Operational constraints in real production
  • Fast decisions under pressure
  • Impact on production and quality

Hronovsky s.r.o.

Project Manager
Company's largest project - KOSTAL / Audi

An Audi project with unclear requirements and frequent changes. We had to rebuild the plan, reset priorities, and get development into production without losing control. The outcome relied on clear communication, discipline, and consistent risk management.

  • Unclear requirements and frequent changes
  • Prioritization and risk management
  • Accountability for production impact
2019-2022

Skoda Electric

Project Manager
New planning system and multi-million projects

Introduced a new capacity planning and reporting system in a data‑heavy environment. At the same time I led projects worth hundreds of millions of CZK, coordinating teams, dependencies, and deadlines. The focus was a working system, not just formal reporting.

  • Data, planning, and reporting in practice
  • Trade-offs with older processes
  • Decision pressure with production impact
2018-2019

Unipetrol

Project Manager - Investor oversight
Investor oversight across multiple projects

Investor oversight for more than ten concurrent refinery projects. Safety, on‑site reality, and the ability to keep control over parallel deliveries were critical. It was coordination of people, technology, and process in a high‑pressure environment.

  • Safety and on-site operational reality
  • Decisions with incomplete information
  • Coordination across teams and suppliers
2016-2017

Eaton Industries

Cost Estimator
Analytics, budgets, optimization proposals

Analytics, budgets, and optimization proposals. I learned to work with incomplete data and translate it into concrete steps for manufacturing, technical development, and finance. Precision mattered, but so did the ability to orient quickly.

  • Working with incomplete data
  • Decisions impacting cost and quality
  • Finding workable compromises
2005-2016

Magna Automotive

CAD Coordinator
CAD, teamwork, process automation

CAD and process automation in an environment with high demands on quality and deadlines. Alongside design work I built VBA tools that simplified routines and freed team capacity. Over time I took over leadership and responsibility for outcomes.

  • Automating routine steps
  • Simplifying team workflows
  • Operational impact and responsibility

The best solutions appear when a problem is broken down into a system.

I'm not a specialist in one topic, but I can see the whole. I quickly grasp connections, find weak spots, and help shape decision-making so it works in practice.

Strategist with vision. I seek systemic solutions, optimize processes, structure chaos. Low need to control others, high self-control.

Why it works in practice

I connect people, processes, and systems

When data is incomplete, I look for the smallest decisionable truth

I track operational consequences, not just plans

I say what doesn't work and propose a simpler path

Whether it's a product, website, or trading - the principles stay the same: system, focus, feedback.

SaaS & digital products

Products where simplicity meets real operations

BKNGWEB.com is a lightweight web system for small accommodations with a focus on simple management, clear content, and fast day-to-day use. meetnotes.cz helps capture and structure meeting notes so you can act on them immediately - clear outputs, tasks, and next steps.

  • Understandable products that stay maintainable in production
  • Focus on simplicity and fast use
  • Built around real user needs

Webdesign & lightweight systems

Minimal backend, easy maintenance

I build websites and lightweight systems with minimal dependencies. The goal is architecture that lasts for years, not a one-time launch.

  • Simple architecture and minimal backend
  • Easy content management without heavy CMS
  • Long-term functionality and low operational cost

Trading & system thinking

Risk, decisions, feedback

Trading is a practical training ground for system thinking. I work with risk, discipline, and decision-making under pressure. This is not financial advice.

  • Risk management and rules
  • Decision-making under pressure and uncertainty
  • Feedback loops, metrics, discipline

Blogging & writing

Writing as a thinking tool

I write on Vesely blog and Mind4trading. Writing helps me structure problems and test arguments in public.

  • Structuring problems into clear arguments
  • Testing hypotheses and audience feedback
  • Long-term work on clarity and language

I'm interested in why things work - or don't work.

Whether it's a team, system, product, or market, I look at how setup shapes outcomes in real operations.

In projects, I look for structures that hold under pressure.

In products, I watch where simplicity improves decisions.

In writing, I test arguments and their consequences.

My work and thinking rest on three pillars - human, technology, and system. I look for connections, ask questions, and validate them in reality.

human×technology×system

Collaboration with context.

I look for short, meaningful collaboration where an outside systems view makes a difference.

It makes sense to reach out if you:

  • Are dealing with chaos in priorities
  • Are shaping product direction and need feedback
  • Need to simplify operations or decision-making
  • Want a fast external view without long-term lock-in
No big promises, just a clear view of reality.
